Become a Trustee
Become a trustee of Friends of Grove Farm and make a difference
Do you care about nature and making a positive impact in the community? If so, we invite you to consider becoming a Trustee of Friends of Grove Farm.
About us:
The trustees for Friends of Grove farm are dynamic and forward thinking group who are dedicated to bring together people who love Grove Farm Nature reserve and want to support a green space where both wildlife and the community can flourish.
The group works with Ealing Council and other local groups to maintain and improve Grove Farm, holding monthly conservation volunteer mornings where anyone can participate and enjoy time working in nature. We host a variety of talks and walks to encourage local people to explore Grove Farm and connect to nature. We also undertake monthly litter picks with a local charity, LAGER Can, to keep the nature reserve clean.
Currently we have a range of projects that we are aiming to undertake such as:
-
A hedgehog surveys which would include working with London Zoo,
-
Developing community gardens,
-
Bringing Coston’s brook back to life,
-
Creating a new pond
As a group we are committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of our local communities and nature.
