We continued our monthly water testing programme. Thank you to Sue, Fred & Olena for helping us out.

Most of our ponds & the stream are dry but our small ephemeral pond that we dug out a few years also is still holding water which means that hopefully, it can support amphibians like frogs & newts in the future. Later in the year, we will be making it bigger through the funding from our Rewild grant from the Mayor of London. The bigger pond will be able to store more water from the winter & spring rains & we hope it will mean there is water available in Grove Farm for longer.

Our next conservation morning & water testing will take place on July 27. All are welcome.
