We had an amazing team from Good Gym join Friends of Grove Farm in our conservation efforts to tackle the water leakage issue. 💧✨

A few weeks ago, thanks to our Rewild London grant from the Mayor of London, we enlarged out ephemeral pond with a digger. However, we soon discovered that water was seeping out near the path, causing some flooding. 🚧💦

To address this, we dug a channel to drain the excess water into a nearby ditch. This month's conservation task task focused on reinforcing the pond walls with clay by puddling (seen below) to eliminate air gaps. 🏞️🔧

Fingers crossed that our efforts pay off!
